The definition of a single zone home music system is where all speaker pairs play the same music simultaneously. Each area with speakers features an in wall volume control that enables you to adjust the music level to your taste. Music source selections are made at a central location called the “Head End”. The head end is where you locate the components that power the system and supply the music sources. Very little control, other than volume, is available from the room locations. This means if you want to change CDs, or change the music source to FM or even turn the system on or off, a trip to the head end is necessary. There are ways to control your system from remote locations, but the Multi-Zone systems are the better choice for control.
Wiring
Electronic Creations uses only 14 gauge speaker cable that is UL approved for “in wall “use. Each speaker cable runs from the head end to the volume control and then to each speaker.
